Jason Alexander is known to most Americans as George Costanza, Jerry Seinfeld's neurotic friend on the hit TV series Seinfeld (1990–1998). He has received five Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe nominations for the role, as well as an American TV Award, an Actor's Guild Award, and two American Comedy Awards. In addition to his television work, he has also appeared in the Broadway shows Merrily We Roll Along (1981), The Rink (1984), and Jerome Robbins' Broadway (1989), for which he won a Tony. He starred in the movie Love, Valour, Compassion (1997), and provided voiceovers for the animated features The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle (2000) and Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996).
