Grammy Award-winning bluegrass singer and fiddler whose music combines both traditional and contemporary styles, making her the premier musician of the genre. With her backup band, Union Station, she released Two Highways (1989) and Every Time You Say Goodbye (1992). Her solo recordings include I've Got That Old Feeling (1990), Now That I've Found You: A Collection (1995), and Forget About It (1999). Krauss and Union Station were in the spotlight in 2000 contributing several tracks to the soundtrack of the movie O Brother, Where Are Thou?
