Age: 82former All-American football and basketball star at the University of Pennsylvania and last surviving member of the Quakers' "Destiny Backfield", which also included Lew Elverson, Bill Kurlish and Eddie Warwick; most noted for his kicking, Murray averaged 67 yards per punt, including an 80-yard boot in 1936; also captain of the basketball team as a junior and co-captain as a senior; played halfback and punter for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1939-40; of complications from a stroke
