Helen Hunt

Oscar and Emmy Award-winning television and film actress best known for her role as Jamie Buchman on Mad About You (1992–1999). She began acting at the age of seven when she appeared on The Mary Tyler Moore Show as Murray Slaughter's daughter. Her other television credits include Swiss Family Robinson (1975–76) and It Takes Two (1982–83). Her films include Project X (1987), Kiss of Death (1995), Twister (1996), As Good As It Gets (1997), What Women Want (2000), Pay It Forward (2000), Dr. T and the Women (2000), and Cast Away (2001). She directed, acted in, and co-wrote the screenplay for the adaptation of the Elinor Lipman novel Then She Found Me (2006).
