Actress known for her minor roles in comedy and action films such as Wayne's World (1982) and High School High (1996). Carrere, who describes her heritage as “part Hawaiian, part Chinese, part Spanish, part Filipino,” got her start on the TV soap General Hospital (1983–86) before landing roles in Instant Karma (1990) and Showdown in Little Toyko (1991). Recent film credits include Scar City (1999), the Showtime production, Dogboys (1998), and the voice of Nani in both the film (2002) and television series (2003–), Lilo & Stitch.
