Enormously successful popular singer, and one of Canada's most successful stars of all time. Her album Falling into You (1996) won Grammy awards for both Album of the Year and Best Pop Album. A fixture at the top of the pop charts throughout the 1990s, Dion's success has been bolstered even more by songs with movie tie-ins, such as “Because You Loved Me”, which was the theme to the film Up Close and Personal (1996), and “My Heart Will Go On”, the love theme to the movie Titanic (1997). She's currently booked into Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas until 2007.
